Does the Monday Fear grab you on Sunday? Do you feel your anxiety set in on Sunday night, feeling totally overwhelmed by the thought of having to conquer another stressful week?
I get you, I totally get you!
I found I couldn’t enjoy my Sunday afternoon or evening because I was already in overdrive about the next week.

Let’s put this into perspective for a second, because that’s what I had to do for me.
‘Fear’ equals ‘false emotions appearing real’.
I’m reacting to something which hasn’t yet happened because my brain tells me ‘You didn’t manage this last week or 6 weeks ago. You failed, so, therefore, I am not gonna succeed next week!’
We are already mentally sabotaging ourselves way before anything happened.

Here are two thoughts which helped me: PLANING ahead, and failure as an OPPORTUNITY TO WIN.
Do you get me?
Certain things are out of our control and we can’t possibly anticipate that they will happen. Which means we shouldn’t worry about them. But we do right!
What IF…?
Now we’ve added another fear factor to our bag of fears.

Let’s start with conquering the fears that we can control.
PLAN
Plan as much of the week as you can ahead of time!
Cook double meals, make salads in advance, prep raw veggies, pre-cook fish/chicken/meat if you like. Simply because I don’t want you to debate with your inner child first if you should eat the chocolate or pizza before something healthy.
Pack your gym stuff the night before.
Our mind is brilliant at sabotaging us if we let it. Place foolproof tricks in place so you have to go.
Book a class with a training buddy, put a certain amount of money into a jar every time you
go to the gym or exercise at home.
This is the point where I could tell you about my exercise app or my class schedule in my studio, but this is not the intention here, so I have included my details at the bottom.
I often have my bike prepped and ready in the car and the alarm set on my phone, which is placed far away from my bed because my desire to press the snooze button is huge!

I believe if you plan properly half the battle is already won. A lot of chances to fail are eradicated before they can even occur which means you have far less stress and anxiety and your productivity rises. Which in turn makes you enjoy life more and you attract more positivity as well.
